Assistant Client Service Manager Job Position: Specialized for Interior Design
Full Time & Part Time | Remote | Women-Owned | Growth-Oriented | Firm based in Dahlonega, GA 30533
We aren't your typical "tax-and-trace" accounting firm. We are a specialized, women-owned accounting powerhouse dedicated to the interior design industry and creative entrepreneurs nationwide. We speak the language of aesthetics, but we live in the world of precise margins. We are looking for a tenacious, detail-obsessed bookkeeper who thrives in the intersection of design and data. You aren't just moving numbers; you are the backbone of our data integrity of some of the country’s most talented visionaries.

Primary Responsibilities:
Business by the Book provides full-charge bookkeeping services for clients across the country.
Code and categorize high volumes of client transactions daily, ensuring they align with interior design project workflows.
Perform monthly reconciliations of bank accounts, credit cards, and loan accounts in QuickBooks Online with 100% accuracy.
Act as the "right hand" to the Client Service Managers, preparing files for their final review and assisting with administrative accounting tasks.
Assist in processing client payrolls and 1099s via Gusto and Tax1099.
Gather data and prepare draft sales tax reports for multi-state filings.
Flag inconsistencies or missing documentation (receipts/invoices) to ensure files stay audit-ready.

General Accounting: Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online is non-negotiable.
Design-Specific Software: Familiarity with (or a strong desire to learn) Houzz Pro and DesignFiles, is highly preferred.
General Accounting: Expert-level mastery of QuickBooks Online
Interpersonal/Client Development Skills:
A "support" mindset
Exceptional organization and the ability to manage tasks for multiple clients simultaneously.
Internal communication is key; you must be able to update managers on progress and roadblocks clearly and concisely.
While you report to a manager, you are expected to manage your daily workflow independently and meet firm deadlines.
Consistently demonstrates firm ethics and maintains strict client confidentiality.
Desired Skills:
Minimum of an Associates or Bachelor’s degree in accounting or other related program
Prior experience (1-2 years) in bookkeeping or accounting support roles
Strong technology skills using Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Meet, Chat, etc.)
Ability to multi–task and to work independently with minimal supervision
Experience working in a paperless environment strongly preferred
Team player with a positive - ‘can do’ approach
The "Busy Season" Reality:
Our clients' success depends on a clean year-end. To ensure we provide elite service, we have a strictly defined busy season during December, January, and February. If you’re looking for a quiet winter, this isn’t the role for you. We are looking for team members who aren't afraid of hard work and are ready to lock in during these three months to ensure our clients start their year on a perfect footing
Work Life Flexibility:
BBTB provides team members the ability to be both professionally challenged and with time year-round to be personally involved with family and friends. Our team enjoys a 100% remote work environment.
